Wait. What? That 'Flavour' is only a metaphor?
Awesome sauce is a marketing agency that was fed up with being confused for a company that sold sauces. This was partly due to having brand elements that drew too heavily on 'sauces'. At its core was a unique brand concept and positioning they wanted to build on. One that is captured succinctly in its tagline: 'Add a little Flavour to your Brand'.
We were tasked to update, refine, and modernize their brand and visual identity. And to extend this new sensibility across a few touchpoints, namely a website and name card design.
From sauce everywhere to sauce inspired.
Our chosen direction takes an abstract graphical approach to visually articulating 'sauce' in a way that felt modern and clean.
A dash of Awesome.
We wanted to design a name card that was both a cool extension of the brand while also serving as an interesting conversation starter. We treated the 'sauce' elements with a polymer layer to give it a nice liquid sheen.
Website Development & Design
For our website to be a natural extension of our branding, we knew it had to flow. To feel dynamic, almost liquid. This was achieved through the use of parallax and scroll effects that slide various brand elements across the page.
