Book design and the unboxing experience.
This book represented an important touch point for Selophy as a brand. We knew we had to move away from the ordinary in how we crafted the experience of discovering the book. Each book came in an elegant box with meaningful affirmations laced onto few of its panels.
For the book design, we opted for a linen cover in Selophy's green for a tactile almost sensual nature to it's handling. We went for simple, clean, and bold typography to complement the substantive content inside over something more stylised. This approach carries into the page design, where the laws, as stamps of authority, are big and bold. We designed the fore-edge margins with more allowance for notes and epiphanies to be scribbled in onto the book itself.

We wanted a series that helped to distill the essence of each law and crafted in a way that would connect on a deeper lever with our audiences.
Our approach was curate quotes of wisdom from thinkers, poets, personalities and cutting to imagery that would take them on short journey. Where they felt the words beyond the thinking. We wanted this series to feel ephemeral, atmospheric, almost like a memory.

Mid-Funnel Content:
Illustrated Myth Vs Truth Carousel
Most brands focus on awareness and conversion and often neglect the mid-funnel. Mid-funnels are key to nurturing trust and building a strong relationship with your community, ultimately driving sales. For Selophy, this took the form of a carousel series that address common myths that stand in the way of growth with a story told through carousel posts.
Carousels are a great format for keeping audience engagement especially when paired with visually interesting panels that tells a story. And higher engagement translates into our content being pushed out more by the algorithm.
The 'Myth vs Fact' format told through a carousel naturally meant that each set opens with a strong hook. And instead of the immediate fact delivered to debunk the myth, we walk people through the steps of realisation and leaving them with deeper understanding of Law in question. This not only grounds the law in something that our community can recognise but also offer real value in the perspective shift that need to be undertaken.

The solution: Create real value through developing a book that would codify wisdom from great thinkers in this space into 44 laws which aims to serve as a guide for anyone on the path of self-healing and self-love.
